Texas Holdem Mistakes - 3 More Mistakes You Probably Make
Are you irritated that you often lose money playing poker? You are probably making one of these Texas Holdem mistakes.
You don't have to be the best player in the world to make money playing poker. You just need to be better than the players you are playing against. I can take even the worst player and sit him against people who don't even know what poker is and he will win.
So, if you want to win, stop doing it the hard way. Take the easy road, easy street.
Texas Holdem Mistakes - #1 Mistake You Are Probably Making
The first mistake you are probably making is that you are playing at too high a level. In other words you are playing against players that are better than you. If you are doing this you will probably be losing a lot of money.
Good players love fishes like you. Stop losing you cash to them and go sit down at some lower stakes. Or stop playing with the same group of friends, or the same casino, etc.
Texas Holdem Mistakes - #2 Mistake You Are Probably Making
The second mistake you are probably making is you are playing the wrong type of game. Generally I've found that tournament players are much more aggressive and better players than cash games. Now this is just a generalization but I have found it to be true.
Maybe it's not the players but the fact that in a tournament, because the blinds are increasing, you have to be aggressive and get your stack bigger no matter what. Maybe it's just this aggression coming through, but if you are having troubles playing tournament poker why not give a low stakes cash game a go.

Now, once you have started playing against players that are a little easier to beat all you need is a solid strategy and you should make money easily. This mistake is not having that strategy.
You need a good, working strategy that is proven to work over time. Then, all you have to do is follow it, stick to the rules and play the correct way, and you'll be raking it in.
Now, I'm sure you are aware of a time you played outside your league and lost a bunch because of it. You're realizing that maybe you should have been playing against weaker opponents in order to more easily win.
If you want to become good at poker and be able to take on those very good players first you have to beat the beginner players and then move your way up. The best way to do this extremely fast is to both practice and educate yourself as well by reading books and taking courses etc. When you educate yourself by reading you get a lot better a lot faster than just practicing. So please, go and get your hands on some books or info on how to player poker better.
